Our Installation Process

The process of installing a solar system typically involves three main steps: Assessment, Installation, and Connection.

The first step in installing a solar system is a thorough assessment of the property. One of our professional solar installers will evaluate various factors such as the roof's orientation, tilt, and condition, as well as the amount of shading it receives. This assessment helps determine the system size and the number of solar panels required to generate the desired amount of electricity. Additionally, the installer considers the property's electrical setup to ensure compatibility with the solar system.

Once the assessment is complete, the installation process begins. The solar panels are mounted on the roof or any suitable location using racking systems designed to withstand the elements. The installer carefully positions the panels to maximize sun exposure and secure them firmly in place. Next, the panels are connected through wiring to an inverter, which converts the captured DC energy into usable AC electricity for household consumption. Additionally, the inverter may be connected to a battery storage system if desired. The wiring and electrical connections are carried out following safety guidelines and local electrical codes.

After the solar panels and associated equipment are installed, the final step is to connect the system to the electrical grid. This involves obtaining the necessary permits and approvals from the local utility company. A licensed electrician or the solar installer completes the interconnection process by integrating the solar system with the main electrical panel. This allows the excess electricity generated by the solar panels to be fed back into the grid, often resulting in credits or compensation through net metering. With the system successfully connected, the solar energy is now available for use, reducing reliance on conventional electricity sources and providing a renewable and sustainable energy solution.
